About

Welcome to my blog about running, triathlons, and everyday life, for those of us trying to be the best version of ourselves through the sports we love the most. No matter where we’re at on this big journey, don’t we all want to BE inspired, BE unstoppable and BE the best version of who we are?

I’m a runner, writer, coach, motivator and mom who finds joy in celebrating a lifetime of health and fitness and setting out on new adventures.

Grand Canyon…Pure Bliss!

I’ve been running since I was a young girl and I’ve run everything from a mile to a marathon, with many triathlons and cycling events thrown in along the way for fun. I recently accomplished one of the biggest athletic highlights of my life — becoming an Ironman. It’s something I’d dreamed of since I was a teenager and it’s a journey I’ll never forget.

What else is the Be about in “Run Be Run?” It’s a bit of an inside joke actually. Whenever my husband cheers for me during races, he yells,”Goooooo B!!!…Ruuuun B!!!” To get the full effect, imagine the voice of a crazy soccer announcer when somebody scores a game-winning goal during World Cup.

Thanks for swinging by my blog. I hope you enjoy it and become part of the conversation! After all, running, biking, and swimming with friends (virtual and otherwise) is a whole lot more fun than going it alone.

Happy Trails everyone!

    • Hi Rosie! Thanks for swinging by my blog. Sounds like you have a speedy son on your hands! Wow! Good luck to him in the coming year.

It sounds like you want to start running and racing too! Yay for you. There’s no better community to surround yourself with than the running community. I don’t know where you live, but if you can find a Moms in Motion group, I think you’d have a lot of fun and enjoy a supportive group of women who come in every shape, size and ability. Best of luck to you!
